Applied ICT A Level Unit 1 - ICT and Society
Section H & O - Screenshots
After you have all that design work done, the exam itself comes around.
Don't forget that it's 15 hours long. Your timeplan should give you a good guide as to what needs to be done in what order of course.
I'd recommend setting aside ten minutes at the end of each session to:
- update your ongoing plan (by hand of course)
- note down any issues or problems you had
- back your work up - do this every session (and at least once a session)
The Screenshots:
Rows H and O are really easy marks to get.
You take a screenshot at the start of the exam showing your files - all your text and image files. Then you take a screenshot at the end of the exam showing your files again. Then you note down what differences there are and explain them.
The main reasons why there would be a difference are that you needed to add a text or image file during the exam - you can do this at the start of any session by asking the supervisor to supervise you doing it - or if you needed to create or edit an image during the exam (perhaps resizing it).
I would strongly recommend you have at least one difference - even if it's just a resized image. You don't need lots, but one makes getting the marks easier.
Talking of the marks, here are the markgrids:
