Asset logs are used by production teams to keep track of the assets that are being used to make a product.
This includes details about copyright, which is a major issue for commercial products.

Unlike most of the the other pre-production documents in this section, assets logs don't help show what a product will look like or how they will work. Instead they help teams manage the creation process in a more organised way.
You will have used assets tables in your portfolio work. These are similar to the assets logs used by production teams, although yours is probably quite a lot simpler.
